Dolomite instability has resulted in significant financial losses, as well as loss of life, yet sites underlain by dolomite, with the potential for instability, continue to be targeted for development.

It has been Jones & Wagener’s mission to better understand these sites from a geotechnical perspective and to develop practical engineering solutions to mitigate the risk of the impact of dolines and sinkholes on developments.
