We are excited to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Jabulile Msiza on her election as a SAICE Fellow!
Jabulile’s remarkable journey from graduating as a Civil Engineer at the University of Pretoria to becoming a seasoned leader in the field of Solid Waste Management is truly inspiring. Her dedication and expertise have not only elevated her career, but have also significantly contributed to the advancement of the Civil Engineering profession.
As Chairman of the Board, Director, and Head of the Waste Engineering Department at Jones & Wagener (Pty) Ltd, Jabulile’s impact is undeniable. Her extensive experience spanning over 18 years encompasses the design, construction, and monitoring of waste management facilities. Her contributions extend beyond her professional role, as evidenced by her involvement in publishing technical papers and articles, as well as her active participation in professional organizations such as SAICE, the Engineering Council of South Africa, IGS SA, and IWMSA – Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa. Jabulile’s standing on the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) council and her role as Vice-Chair of the IGS Technical Committee on Barriers (TC-B) underscore her commitment to advancing engineering practices globally.
