We are once again very proud to provide details on one of our biggest hashtag#CSR projects at Matshidisho Creche in Ga-Seleka, which is approximately 65 kilometers northeast of Medupi Power Station. Jones & Wagener (Pty) Ltd is funding the design, geotechnical investigation, municipal approval, construction and construction supervision of the new Creche building.

We visited the Crèche initially in 2022 and could not ignore the desperate learning conditions. Children were taught either under a tree on the premises or in a corrugated iron structure. We have partnered with MABALANE A SEVEN CONSTRUCTION AND PROJECTS 102, a Black female-owned contractor for the construction and LEKWA CONSULTING ENGINEERS (KZN), a Black-owned consulting firm, who provide construction supervision and monitoring services.

We are steadfast in our commitment to education, specifically the development of children and youth towards careers in environmental sciences and engineering.

We have achieved significant progress as the design and geotechnical investigation were completed and construction commenced in November 2024 once municipal approvals were granted. The supply of material and installation of the perimeter fence has been completed, and the foundations and brick walls are near completion.
