HEALTH & SAFETY
 
J&W carries a 4-Star NOSA safety rating and it is our policy that:

• All work is carried out according to the requirements of the South African Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) and the regulations accompanying this act.  
•  All employees are provided with adequate training for the tasks that they are required to perform including an awareness of the risks involved in the execution of their duties and the methods available for the mitigation of these risks.
• No person in the company will be required or permitted to work in unsafe or unhealthy conditions.

 
QUALITY
 
J&W has recently put an ISO 9001 quality system in place.  An initial compliance audit is due to be undertaken in mid 2010.  Accreditation is expected in the second half of 2010.

BBBEE

Jones & Wagener is a Level 4 BBBEE contributor.  In addition, we have also achieved the requirements to be rated as a Value Adding Supplier and, as such, the BBBEE Procurement Recognition Level of 100% for the Level 4 recognition can be further multiplied by a factor of 1,25 in order to gain a final recognition level to be used for J&W.
